This is exactly what I think it is too.

Judges vote in the semi final...basically the judges handpicking the finalists...so much for leaving it to the public

but this was confirmed as the one with the least votes was gone,there was meant to be no bottom twos but cher came bottom of the votes.

also dermot didnt tell the public that it was a bottom two,so the people that voted this weekend should ask for a refund.

I think you are spot on on this one, my instant thought, everything this year stinks rotten as to the judges voting on X Factor,this just adds fuel to the flames of the suspicions.

I think Cher was likely bottom of the votes and I think they get the nod too as to that.

It all really stinks and has got worse as the weeks have gone on.

I agree but I also think the best and fairest way to have settled that would have been to let the public decide the outcome,not a sig off and the judges as the public have always done in the semi finals.

Stacey, often you talk sense and I often take on board some of what you say but Mary has also survived every week but 2 as the last 2 placings so you defeat your own argument with your statement above.

We have no way of knowing who was last in the votes but one things for sure the Judges weren't going to let it go to deadlock and if Cher had been 2nd last in the votes they would have had no fear of doing that.

So it stinks rotten. Absolutely, and she has as much chance of winning this year as I have and I am not even in it.
