That's because Shaun was getting stuff out of his system without actually acting out his fantasy
 He wasn't obnoxious with it or thought himself better than others, nor did he make sarky remarks at other campers a lot of the time, unlike Dom. That was the difference between those two, and why many found Shaun likeable and Dom not.
