Great episode, much better than EastEnders' lame fire stunt. Only thing I didn't like was when we saw the tram driver and it all looked rather crap CGI at one point, like when it was zoomed in on him and the tram, I didn't like that but from long distance the tram looked realistic.

I don't agree.at least the fire looked real,we all burst out laughing when the 'tram' came off the bridge,you could so see it was a model,lol,looked like one of those you make with cardboard,and when Molly was running with the baby,it was ok but well over hyped.

Before it actually came off they used a real tram, when it came off, it wa cgi, and when it landed, it was a model

First time I've watched Corrie in years tonight [well, apart from Jack's death a few weeks back], was very impressed. The crash was a bit disappointing, well, mainly the CGI bit - when it landed it was fairly impressive and the explosions and destruction was epic. Looking forward to the rest of the week.

The different edit they had on itv 2 was a lot better without the close ups of the tram driver. When the superimposed driver flew towards the camera it spoiled it.
I was impressed with the shot of the second carriage falling on the Kabin; even though I wasn't sure that the carriage would realistically fly up in the air like that but it was awesome. The effects aren't going to be terribly realistic on a soap but they did very well with what they had. Reminded me of Titanic.
Loved the black comedy of Rita being showered with bon bons too lol.
