OLLY MURS' home bedpost is notch-free.

The singer's "old-fashioned" parents have slapped a nocturnal nookie ban on their famous son, forbidding him from bedding down with girls.


Single Olly still lives with his mum and dad in the same semi-detached Essex abode he grew up in - and he's got no complaints about their strict approach to his love life.


He said: "I can bring girls round, but my folks wouldn't let them stay.


"It's not religion, they're just an old-fashioned family, and it's their home."


Despite that, Olly revealed he's on the hunt for a girlfriend.


He added: "I haven't had a girlfriend for a while, but if a girl wants to talk to me, if she's attractive? Well, being a single man, I'm sure I'm going to take her up on it.


"I don't want people to feel they can't speak to me.


"I'm no different to anyone else, I've just got a job that's in the limelight and I'm able to sing songs."

Aww bless. I think he was trying to find a pad in London at one point.

I hope he does find a girlfriend soon.

The real money for singers comes with a tour.. The label make more money off of album sales and singles I think.

Then why do singers bother with albums and singles? To get themselves known for tours I imagine.

They will get some money from it, just not much. And if they didn't have a single or an album then not many people would be interested in watching them on tour

I think it depends on your contract - I think I remember some of the "supergroups" were permanantly on Worldwide Tours and were getting hacked-off as actually losing money and an awful lifestyle.

I'm sure some of the 'artists' ain't got much of a clue either. I remember seeing a programme about someone from the Bay City Rollers (this was the popular teenie band from the 1970s). Although world famous he's broke and the programme was essentially of him moaning that all the money disappeared to accountants/promoters/etc.
