Idk, it's odd in the UK for there to be such a large gap between single and album :/

So although it's probable, with her saying she'll be back during feb/march, seems odd for her to do it with another 2 months before the album is released

Well I think there will be another single in early May. So there will be two singles before the album, that's why the first one is so early.

I know, yeah. I honestly think Interscope have been such fools not releasing the album on February 15. They have so many amazing promotion opportunities! They could have brought out her new single in mid January, then she would have time to rest while editing the music video, and planning the revamped Monster Ball, and then in early February she could perform on shows like Ellen, The View, Letterman etc. Then her 60 Minutes interview would air on February 13, and she could perform at the Grammy Awards, and at the BRIT Awards, and Good Morning America on the album's release morning, then the tour. Mixed with some junket interviews with Access Hollywood, This Morning etc, and radio interviews, would be garunteed at #1. And she could have Rolling Stone and Vogue! I should be Gaga's manager, lmfao. And I know it seems like loads of work, but she'll be doing just as much for just a single release.

tbh I think the idea about releasing it in May must be Interscope's idea, no doubt she'd want fans to have it sooner rather than later. It's so frustratitng the way she's been hyping it up so much with You & I and how "In two months it'll be in your hands" & "Top of the year will be perfect" and now we get told we have to wait...until may -_-

Yeah, I think that also. But I suppose we just have to be grateful that she releases new music so frequently. It's only been a year and a half since The Fame Monster. Also, we will get the new single soon, and 'Hello, Hello' and I think she will add a new song into the tour in February, and we will still have You And I. After that, it will only be two months until the album's release. So it's not to bad when you actually think about it.
