Nothing in excess
|
I can't really say. I've met so many people who seem so level-headed and normal on the surface and then you find out they listen to Creed. Madness.
![]() I find pop singers in general inspire disgustingly fanatical levels of devotion in people, that tends to spill over onto review sites where anybody who would dare criticise the flavour of the month had best prepare to get mobbed by hysterical middle-aged women. Expect oestrogen-fuelled platitudes like "well he sells loads of records so your opinion doesn't count", "you're just a music snob and out of touch with real people" and my favourite "you have no right to criticise until you get your own multimillion pound record deal".

No matter that Amis coins truly abominable terms like 'the age of horrorism' and when criticised tells people to 'fuck off'. Surely we all chuckle at the strenuous ennui of his salon drawl.
