Default Big Brother: All Stars UK being considered - Daily Star

Quote:
JADE’S BACK!

‘All stars’ to clash in house

by MARK JEFFERIES

BIG Brother babe Jade Goody is heading back into the house with a host of other show favourites.

Channel 4 bosses are lining up an amazing new series called Big Brother: All Stars.

The best-loved and mosthated housemates will be invited to go back in front of the cameras with members of the public.

And it would bring excontestants such as Jade, 25, and “Nasty” Nick Bateman, 38, and previous winners Kate Lawler, 26, Nadia Almada, 29, and Brian Dowling, 27, all together in one room.

Success

A source at makers Endemol said: “Over in America the network CBS has just introduced a series this summer with lots of former contestants.

“It’s a big success as everyone knows the characters straight away.

“One of the criticisms about this year’s Big Bro in the UK is that they have tried to introduce too many new characters.

“People have struggled to keep up and get to know LOATHE Nasty Nick WINNER: Nadia Almada them all. would be

It is believed the show has a good chance of going ahead next year.

Media expert Dan Wooten said: “After the difficulty of attracting really original contestants for this year’s series it could be a consideration for C4.

“The other option This way

no such there problems.” is to POPULAR: Brian Dowling use the all-star format in January in place of Celebrity Big Brother.

“Using fiery contestants we already know – and in many cases, love to hate – would ensure a season of high drama in the house.”

Format

The only time a similar show has been aired in the UK was when Channel Five created Back To Reality.

The show, which went out in 2004, featured stars who had appeared in several different reality shows including Jade and royal love rat James Hewitt, 48.

But it struggled to attract viewers because it was seen as being too tacky.

Our source added: “They used our format but did it badly. If we do it, there is real potential for it to be the best Big Brother ever.”
Daily Star

Just sounds like more speculation pretending to be fact again from the Daily Star.

Ah well James, if it's in the Star it must be true.

How do you decide who to invite back in? I fear the format would be all promise and no delivery.

Whatever success theses people have had (or not) since coming out, they are all still just ordinary people. Which will make for just another BB. With the added fear of people desperately trying to shock or impress who were really annoying in the first place.

I suspect there would be few of the ones we WANTED to see again.

to be honest dont see that happening, i think theyve got that story purely based on the rumours which forums are stating and with the success of the previous two celeb bb's i cant see them moving way for that.

I think we should be able to vote are favs in, like Americans did. They were given a top 20 candidate list and had to vote for their favs.

I'd love to see it maybe BB8 can be:

BIG BROTHER 8: ALL-STARS

So it happens like every 2/3 years etc!

I could name: Helen, Kate, Brian, Dean, Science and Derek- and thats it.

I do think normal BB should have a break next year though.
