Paris Hilton has revealed that she plans to release a new album later this year.

The socialite, who put out her debut record Paris in 2006, said that plans to release a follow-up "in the next few months," Billboard reports.

Speaking at Usher's pre-Grammy party, Hilton said that she had signed to a new record label and was keen to keep the LP's producers and featured artists "a surprise".

Paris peaked at number six and 29 in the US and UK respectively, and spawned the singles 'Stars Are Blind' and 'Nothing In This World'.

The star recently celebrated her 30th birthday with Moulin Rouge-themed party in Hollywood.

I loved Nothing In This World and Stars Are Blind. Both awesome songs.
