Imagine his defence lawyer at his trial lol. I don't want him to get caught but it should be comedy gold.

'Yes he did hit Charlotte with a hammer, but I must stress he was only trying to deter her from leaving. The hammer merely slipped out of his hands and that same hammer hit her.

John I really wasn't aiming for her head. The hammer just happened to go in that direction before I could stop.

Defence Lawyer 'You see the hammer was to blame and maybe a bit of gravity.'

Yes, yes he did accidently put his hands over Mrs Warboys mouth, but that was just to calm her down, she was being hysterical, he was worried about her heart, as soon as he realised she was not breathing he took action

John 'I tried to put spray in her mouth several times, the one she uses for her bad heart, but the stuff wasn't strong enough'.

Defence Lawyer. You see I blame the 'so called' medical professional who didn't give her a high enough spray dose, It would certainly of helped her to breath again.
