It's got absoloutely nothing to do with them having faith in him. That's why like Cena the PPV ended with him on his back staring at the lights. He is simply a placeholder. The middle gear in the system to keep the belt on and play things around for the true storyline of Cena Vs. Rock.

It's worth mentioning that in the rating breakdowns virtually every single segment to date Miz has been in has lost viewers. His absoloutely bombing as champion.
