Oddly though from her prudish behaviour in the house I would have expected Suzie to condemn herself for it.

Maybe she's doing it for the benefit of her husband? She may find her suitcases packed for her once she returns to her mansion if he ever saw her on tv talking about arseholes and w****** in the literal sense.

OTOH Maybe her husband would actually like her to lose the prudity for once?
Further, it can't be much of a relationship is she has to 'act' falsely just for the benefit of her partner.
There's nothing to to suggest your reasoning is wrong though. It's possible I guess, but then so is my alternative.
