Welcome to TiBB, Sarah. I hope you will enjoy posting here.
Channel 4 may have used Avid Merrion to promote the show but many of us here on TiBB can't stand him. I personally find him extremely offensive which is probably why I found Federico's remarks in the diary room offensive too.
