He'll definitely win a slam in his career. Which one it is I don't know, he prefers the hard courts and is improving on clay (not that he'll ever win RG with Nadal around)
Wimbledon is exciting with him there. Top 5 player in Wimbledon from the same nation. Makes everybody excited. If he wins Wimbledon I will see it as some sort of miracle just because it seems like such a perfect story if it were to come true... he is very capable of doing it its just a matter of bringing his A game to the most important games! He's beaten all of the top 10 more than once before. Every match that he has won over Roger, Rafa and Nole have been on hard court. Which is a worrying for Wimbledon, and he's only ever beaten Rafa at a Grand Slam and never the other two. But out of the top 3 Rafa is the better so that is a good thing for Andy, especially as it seems he will be in the same half of the draw as Rafa in the Grand Slams as long as their seedings stay the same. Personally I think his best chance will come if he because World.3 and he is in the same half as Nole or Roger in a slam. It takes just one of the big 3 losing before the semi's to sway things in favour of Andy.. so yes he can win a slam. Don't count him out ![]() |
