A terrific actor who was very self deprecating. I have the entire Columbo collection on dvd and never get tired of them. However, he was a fine actor in many other roles as well. I know he suffered with Alzheimers during his final years, so I'm glad to hear he just slipped peacefully away. R.I.P. Peter.
