I've tried tobacco and smoked socially about 2 years ago for about 4 months. Haven't smoked tobacco in just over a year though.

Makes you into a lazy bastard, too.
Haha. Might try some soon.

Smoking loads of weed is daft. You only need a small bit to get a nice feeling. It's not like booze. You shouldn't actually want to keep going. First contact and your there. Anything else and it's just a waste of good grass.

Seriously ... smoke like two or three puffs and you'll find it's a nice clean floaty sensation. Not the paranoid train wreck you've been led to have .
Meh, I just cant bring myself to actually do it

My ex was quite big on weed..he used to get quite stressed with me because he promised me it wouldnt be the same as my first experience, but I just wont have it. As I say, a mild joint or two if others are having them...thats about my limit. Just cant get the feeling that Im gunna be ill out of my head, and couple that with my phobia of sick, and its not a good combination

Plus if Im gunna take drugs, Id rather ones that had a bit more effect than feeling a bit floaty and laughing...

I think weed farks with the mind in more ways than one, yet again it is the person/persons who smoke it, nah waste of money.

I can see where you're coming from. Once you have it in your head that it will make you paranoid chances are it will. I slowed down recently because I suddenly started getting anxious off it which isin't fun. It's not good if yer high strung. Plus I messed myself up real bad with acid for years so there we go.

Strictly knock out or wake up stuff for me these days. Nothing twisty and bendy.

Tried it out of curiosity but can't say I'd ever want to take up the habit.

Not now, have tried a few times when I was nieve at secondary school just to see if I liked it or not and never again.

Our moderator smokes weed! Tut tut, Vicky!

I really think you need to look at the long-term effects of smoking. As you'll all know, it's far easier not to smoke than to break the habit.

I've been smoking a bit more lately, nothing serious though. I like chilling with a cig whilst watching tv n that but mostly do my smoking socially. I don't think I'll get addicted because I can still go without smoking for a week. I think my need for a cig is more psychological.

[could possibly be seen as a silly question]

But.. Do you smokers realise how gross your habit is? Have you ever thought 'I should stop smoking, it's not good for me'

Just wondering

I smoke 30-40 a day depending on if I'm working or not. if I go out drinking I can get through 50.

I know it's rank, I have a cough all the time.

I'm quite surprised by the state of my teeth though, I smoke too much, drink toouch wine and drink a ****load of black coffee but I don't know anyone with whiter teeth... luck I guess

oh also I know it doesn't make a HUGE difference but I smoke roll-ups, I don't really like straights and because of that when I am smoking them I tend to smoke less. you can definitely tell how much more rubbish is in them

I never have and never will but I have friends and family who do and that doesn't bother me in the slightest.
In fact I quite like the smell of cigarettes and cigars too when they are being smoked.

Agree. I can go on a 10 hour flight - bearing in mind, it's nearer 12 hours between getting into no smoking departure lounge till to land and get into a smoking area: without any real angst.

yet ask me to go 10/12 hours during a normal day without a fag..... and it's mission impossible.

It really is a hell habit either way.

I'm 19. and i don't see quite how that is relevant. I'm not proud of my smoking so I don't know why I'd lie about it. get a grip.

I have a right to my opinion and that is... you post things to make you look like some bad ass and I happen to not believe a word of it.

How many hours a day do you work? What do you work as that you can even afford to pay for enough baccy to smoke upto 50 fags a day?

sorry I didn't realise having an opinion warranted the need to be highly patronising and interrogate me. you don't know me so I'd appreciate you keeping your judgements to yourself. I'm not claiming to be 'bad ass'.
and I did actually say 'depending on if I'm working'. I generally smoke 30 on weekdays, and I work 7 hour days. but I get 4 cigarette breaks in which I will smoke 2, and an hours lunch. I also get up at 6am every morning.

I don't care if some judgemental person with nothing else to do but belittle people on the Internet doesn't believe what I'm saying, because as I said you don't know me.

physically yes. but it's said to cause psychosis. depends on what angle you're looking at 'better'. neither is great.

Hardly patronising - If I say I don't believe you -that's my personal opinion.

I can ask you questions: but unlike an interrogation: you don't have to answer them. That's your choice whether to answer or not. If you don't you chose not to, you would have every right to make that choice.

Several of your previous posts refer to you working. Given there are a limited amount of waking hours in a day - its' interesting to see how many fags you seem to cram into your waking day.

Baccy doesn't come cheap: even bootleg stuff.

If you're going to suggest you smoke such an extraordinarily high amount of fags and expect people to take you as being truthful...... I see no harm in asking how you can afford it... or how you find the time.

6am: rise
9am: work for 7 hours till 5pm. 10 fags during your breaks (inc 1 hour for lunch)
5pm: home
midnight: bed

Time spent eating, showering, you are having that sex that you love so much, ironing, doing hair, putting on make up, travelling to and from work, going to the pub / eateries etc .... I still find it hard to believe that you manage to cram in another 30/40 fags on top of the 10 you have during your working day.

That's my opinion - it's not being judgemental. It's called me being very cynical.
