42 Cameras isn't that much compared to previous years.

Sounds VERY impressive, especially how they're really focusing on the "no outside world" aspect which C4 were pretty lax with in later years.

It'd be even better if they dissuaded the crowd from acting like morons and interfering in the first place. The most pleasant surprise for this new series would be the crowd behaving themselves.

It really had become a farce.But this story about a sound proof fence doesnt sound quite right? apparently its 10ft high which was badly needed for years IMO.

If new HM's go in halfway through and start talking like they have its all been for nothing.

This really sounds like a Back to Basic series I'm hoping the format is tweaked a bit to bring some originality in, I'm really looking forward to it more so than anything this summer.

If Channel 5 can capture the rougher side of the house and keep the booze flowing I'll be happy, I mean a relationship in the house is a give in but I don't want that to be a main focus. If they were to just capture the fun times and hard times into the show it'd be great because the past few were really heavily editted.

“Airing the show in HD has meant replacing a lot of equipment but no expense was spared to make sure it was all top notch.

“With all the new cameras and hi-tech edit suites, there’s no doubt Big Brother is now the most advanced show on TV.”

Producers have also installed a sound-proof fence so housemates won’t hear anything from the outside world.

Our source added: “So many times in the past housemates have heard chants from the crowd about who viewers want out, which ruins it.

“But this year they will have no idea what’s going on.”

We can also reveal this year’s house will be the biggest in the show’s history.

Teams of production staff have been working on the building since April and in two weeks the interiors will be complete.

A show insider revealed: “The house was completely gutted and it’s being given a new look. Fans will be really impressed.”

An on-site production village has also been set-up at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire for 150 staff working backstage on the series.

Our insider added: “It’s an area especially for Big Brother staff because they will be working on the show constantly to make sure fans are kept updated on all the dramas.”

Big Brother kicks off next month with a celebrity version followed by a new run of the public series.
