"Accusations of rigging continue to plague Big Brother as it now emerges that thousands of pounds were staked on Nikki Grahame to win even after she was evicted from the show.

Several mystery big cash bets were placed on Nikki at 1,000-1 after her eviction, sparking fears that insiders knew she was going back into the house and decided to cash in.

The 'comeback kids' scandal has already led to a storm of controversy for the Channel 4 show with fans demanding their money back for wasted phone votes. More than 2,500 complaints have been made to watchdog ICSTIS, with many fans accusing the reality show's bosses of fixing the game to ensure Nikki, 23, and Tourette's sufferer Pete Bennett make the final two and claim the 100,000 prize.

The Daily Star reveals that some punters are set to earn more than half a million pounds after a total bet of £971 was staked via betfair on Nikki to win at 1000-1 shortly after she was voted out of the house.
