(sorry if its been done before :P)
But what did the eyes mean.. starting from BB4 what did they mean, they indicated some sort of theme, im guessing the BB6 two color (Purple and Black stripes) indicated the two houses!?!? or the House and the Bedsit! Last edited by Andrew.; 04-08-2011 at 05:47 PM. |

BB5 was spikey to represent evil big brother
BB6 was black and purple/blue to represent the secret garden i think. BB7 was gold and black to represent the golden tickets BB8 was multicoloured to represent that all of the housemates were gay (I actually dont know) BB9 was shattered glass to represent the divide in the house i assume? BB10 was supposed to be a techno/modern eye which had not much to do with the series at all, apart from some curved walls CBB7 was fire to represent the Hell Lies In Others theme BB11 was flowers to represent the funeral/death of Big Brother

BB3 - 2 Colours in the eye, 2 halves of 1 house, if you look at the eye from far enough away it looks like 1 colour
BB5 - Evil BB6 - Evil BB7 - twisted BB8 - meant to be a colourful, fun and more upbeat series BB9 - Evil BB10 - Modern BB11 - Death |

Series 1-4 didn't really have any meanings.
Series 5- A spikier eye to symbolise Big Brother getting evil Series 6- Black and blue are colours commonly associated with bruising, this may be to symbolise the series being physically tough? Series 7- A twisted eye to symbolise Big Brother being twisted/ the series featuring many twists Series 8- A brightly coloured eye to symbolise a more fun series (FAIL) Series 9- Shattered eye for shattered dreams. Quite ironic to have a broken eye for a series with a blind man as a contestant Series 10- No idea. Fingerprints I commonly associate with identification, could it maybe have something to do with attempting to hold onto who you are in spite of what Big Brother and the other housemates throw at you? Series C7- Flaming eye for the 'hell lies in others' theme Series 11- Designed as a wreath to symbolise the funeral of Big Brother Series 12- Newly designed eye for a new start to Big Brother |

BB5 was spiky to represent BB gets evil
BB6 was a shattered eye to represent unlucky 13 a shatered mirror BB7 was BB gets twisted BB8 was indicated the TV test card Respresenting that BB had become part of the tv landscape BB9 represented a shattered mirror again, this time its war BB10 was to represent the theme of identity, ie the opening twist that non of the people enterting the house could be identified as a housemate BB11 was the big send off

The 2004 logo represented the evil dynamic. The 3D graphic version of the 2006 logo represented the golden housemate. The 2010 logo represented the end of an era.
The rest mean absoloutely sod all save for maybe exerting an influence over the house design. Only certain hysterical fans seem to insist that each eye has some deep meaning. They are pretty little pictures. |

BB6 was 'unpredictable' according to Eatock
"NH. Do the variations in the design bear any relation to the persona Big Brother adopts in each series of the programme? DE. Yes, the designs suggest and reflect the editorial direction that each series takes. For example, when Big Brother was ‘evil’ the eye had spikes, when Big Brother became ‘unpredictable’, the logo was designed to resemble lenticular glass, like that glass that is sometimes used for the front door of someone’s house. They are quite literal and always use a simple shape, lines, circles, triangles, spirals etc." http://eatock.com/project/big-brother-2/2/

BB5 - Evil
BB11 - Funeral. No others have a meaning, they don't need to have a meaning. BB5 had a specific theme, none of the others did. BB11 was obvious. To think the others had a hidden meaning is naive and stupid - they wouldn't put the effort in. Of course you can find similarities with the logo and series in hindsight - but lets not forget they make half of the twists, tasks and everything else up last minute.
