Yeah a few people are like this. I remember one day when I was at work, one of the regulars came in with a quite bad black eye. The lads all found it hilarious when he said it was off his girlfriend :/

I doubt they would have thought the same if it had been his lass coming in with a black eye though

I hate that. So patronizing
