Special vegan supplements are recommended, same for B12 vitamin. I'm sure our Vegan friend will confirm.
All of my foods give me adequate amounts of both. As I have said before, we are very lucky to live in a time and place in which these things are available to us.

Really. you manage to get enough DHA? Call my cynical, but I don't believe you.

Many specifically vegan foods are fortified with them now. I used to take vitamins, but I actually don't have to now because of the foods I eat.

I have been a vegetarian for the past 7 years. I've never really liked eating meat though, when I was younger I didn't even eat fish or chicken because you can see the shape of the animal on your plate and I just couldn't eat it, I have always thought eating meat is vile and felt extremely guilty when I used to do so.

I'm not saying veganism is wrong, but having to supplement a diet so much surely means its a poor way to eat?

Takes a lot to learn I'd imagine to get it right and as balanced as it can be, but like everything else: when you're used to living a certain way - it becomes the norm and you know what you need to be eating to ensure the body gets what it requires.

Apart from the fact that I like certain types of meat, fish etc: I cba with it.

Being a vegan's incredibly difficult, IMO. Why bother going to all the trouble of buying supplements when you can eat meat? Saves you all the walking around. Seems incredibly bizarre to me but - hey - that's just my opinion.

Why? No one does that because it's horrible, illegal and you could get arrested for that? Also, what sick, twisted mind would get a kick out of robbing old ladies - who probably aren't that loaded, anyway?

Some of the PETA vids really do put me off meat. But they often show the extreme of the extreme. And it's also often less developed countaries than ours.

Not so sure about the 'less developed countries'..... I have a friend who is part of PETA - and a lot happens here in our own back yard.

*had to give her a loan of cat travel box to rescue some chickens.... !!!*

It's countries btw.

I agree, there are a heck of a lot of worse. The monkey brains/toffee hammer stuff - now that's sick beyond belief (as well as a great many other live skinnings/ eatings).

But so too can be said of many shellfish for example, in less developed countries, dropped into boiling hot water etc. You know: pick your live crab / lobster from the tank and 15 mins later, it's on your plate.
