Some have told producers that they should get the same salaries as soap stars.
That would see their basic wages soar to anything from £70,000 to £150,000 a year.

Of course the "cast" aren't worth more than £50 per day as individuals, but the series has proved to be a "cult" success for the broadcaster, so some wort of "reward" would seem to be in order, since most of the "cast" will only have fleeting "fame" .....
