Numerous times I've heard how Faye had a bad childhood or words to that effect. And Gem really seems to resent Faye at times. There is a " shady " palmer family scandal.

That's why she/he was so against the guy trying to get in his daughters pants. And giving it the whole your disappointing mum act.

I think they've had a pretty rough time.
I think it might have been somewhere here that I read, their father walked out on them really young. Their mother had cervical cancer. Faye was in hospital for a week after some sort of serious incident/sickness. Their stepfather had a heart attack before coming in. Jem said something on BOTS too. Emma asked why Jem nagged Faye about smoking, and Jem said that it would have worried her mother because of the heart attack she had -so maybe the mum had a heart attack too.?

I don't know what the deal is with the two sisters.
Faye has repeatedly said that they have never spent any time together. During one of their arguments, Jem said that she was always picking up the pieces all of Faye's life, and Faye replied "you weren't there for most of my life!"
So not sure what the story is there.
I only read about her family on a forum so don't know how true it all is. It was either here or DS that I read it.

When Jem first came in the house and was asked about her and Faye's relationship she said that Faye was treated completely different to her. She was given nothing and brought up strictly yet when Faye came along they change their parenting style and she was spoilt and given anything she wanted.

That was from horses mouth but who knows? Seems to be a lot of problems in their family that they should have sorted out before thinging about going live on national TV!

Frankly I don't really give a damn about any of them. I can't stand Jem she was a complete waste of time and although I thought Faye would be enterntaining in the beginning she ended up a complete let-down and I'm sick and tired of her now. They both need to get off my TV forever.

There's definately something strange about them. Jem moans about Faye smoking and yet indulges in anobolic steroids giving her an utterly dreadful Pizza Face complextion as well as the possibility of serious liver damage, not to mention aging her to the extent that she looks 10-15 older than she really is

Faye seems a sweet girl but terribly naive and childlike.

I think Jem may have once been Jeremy. She is obviously jealous of Faye being prettier. Jem could improve herself by giving Wurzel Gummage his hair back.

Both of them are doing my nut in! Jem with her overbearing, bullying personality and both her/him and Faye are seriously high maintenance. Whatever happened in their family they obviously didnt pull together to get through it. Instead they battle one another for superiority and attention. It looks as though Faye fails often and instead she throws her toys out to be noticed.

Whether you like Aaron or not i think he would be better off leaving well alone and let them rip each other to peices instead of using him as bait. Its no wonder he looks as though he is finding reasons to pull away. I dont blame him at all. Faye or Jay out this week hopefully, but on the other hand it would be good to see Jem/Jeremy's face when his/her sister/son gets more votes to stay over Jay.

From whats been said, it looks like Jem was brought up more strict whereas Faye was quite spoilt and given a lot of attention.

If I remember correctly Jem was also bullied.
