I voted for Pete lots of time, and his Tourettes had nothing to do with it
I voted for him cos he made me laugh, he wanted to help his Mum, and hes so nice and genuine.

See thats what p*sses me off. He kept talking in the house about how he was going to help his mum, yet it is a clear breach of the ruless to discuss what you would do with the prize. Even if he didn't say it, people on the outside said it plenty.

I personally found pete less entertaining than a coma patient, but thats just me.

Yeah that is just you!

I loved Pete, and I think I've explained plenty of times why I thought he was an amazing HM. It had nothing to do with his Tourette's, although I think him having that is what made him an even better person.

To be honest, I actually thought the public would find him annoying.
I thought I'd really dislike him.

Oh come on............

at first he wanted to raise awareness for tourettes,
then it was to to help his mother,
then it was to prove heaven / god / ghosts of dead friends exist.

Come on, he played a game, and he played a good one for the majority of folks watching - you bought into his game

He's about as genuine as a £9 note.

It was all about the money, nothing more nothing less.

To pretend it was something else is disingenuos - ad infinitum.

They are all guilty of it but some are more guilty than others

Had Pete not had tourettes he would have been booted out weeks ago and sectioned. His behavour on final night was something out of a lunatic asylum and I am not refering to his tourettes condition.

I dont think its fair to say he won because of his tourettes but him having tourettes made him more entertaining if you get me but I think he won because he was a genuine character and the fact in my opinion he was drop dead gorgeous lol

I think his band will sound very rocky but poppy at the same time croos between the fast food rockers and arctic monkeys lol.I thought Pete said that he liked techno music "summit with a fast beat" but I have heard Daddy Fantastics song and it doesnt sound liek techno at all

Thank goodness for a realist amidst all this so called perfect Pete mania...

I don't think he won because of his tourettes by the fans, but by the more casual viewer they'd just love him because of 'how he handles it' and that reason alone. But, then again, the more casual viewer is unlikely to vote anyway. Pete went in because he wanted to be a bloody rock star, no wonder he loved all those half dressed women fawning over him, but immediately went off them when they were being too 'clingy'. He wanted to be famous, all this stuff about him having a dead friend telling him he must win or whatever is totally pathetic, he should have gone and got some councilling and not have gone on big brother.. I can't believe people didn't think that pete used the sympathy vote 'oh vote for me because if you don't heaven doesn't exist' 'oh vote for me because by swearing by accident alot in the house tourettes awareness with increase!' 'oh vote for me because my mum works in mcdonalds' ...eurgh, nauseating. Even if he did want to bloody well win, why did he have to make it so obvious? Why did he feel the need to make all these things clear, didn't he ever think "maybe that will look like im desperate to win", No.

Excellent point of view. Truth is his nausiating tactics worked. He won. He played the game and won so I suppose he has to have credit for that.

Those that don't deserve credit are those that fell hook line and sinker for such obvious tactics........

I acutally forgot he had tourettes as the show went on because people took absolutely no notice to it and of course it wasnt like the outside world with people thinking "why is he yelling WANKA all the time"...

It wasn't a sympathy vote. Whats there to be sorry for?

He was an entertainer and it practially seemed as though it was his second nature and I thought it was funny. Not cos he had touretted but the fact it was just Pete!

But towards the end he really started to do my nut in!! Nikki kinda took him off the rails a wee bit and I found it a bit boring to watch.

And yeh, I would have rathered to see Richard win.
