Bearing in mind how BB has been viewed this year is it time for it to be pulled from our screens or to take a break.
We had heated discussions in work about this today and the general concensus was that BB5 (if it happens) will be the turning point - like this year and BB might as well give up - like BB2 or 1 then there's hope. What do you think. |

BB5 is highly likely because this series is still doing the business in the ratings. The format possibly needs to be shaken up somehow.
Though I'll still be excited about the new series next year before it starts. |

They could do a Castaway 2004 on a remote Scottish island with Cameron taking the place of Ben Fogle. No chance Castaway 2000 started reality TV off properly in this country. How I wished that island had a 24 hour feed and a nightly show, they should get some housemates like those people. Classic Stuff.

I didn't watch Castaway but they should bring back Survivor (and not I'm a Non-Entity Get Me Out of Here).
Survivor had a lot of mileage left in it. |

BB2 was supposed to have been the last one, according to a company executive before BB2 actually started
It has served its time The ratings for BB4 are dropping If this was an American TV series, it would be canceled - Mid season. |

I can't believe that on a dedicated website for BB fans it's being suggested and supported that BB has run it's course and should finish or take a lengthy break.
I admit this series has had many dull moments and I have been one of it's biggest critics not just towards the contestants but at the BB producers for their introduction of certain gimmicks. This doesn't mean I want the series to end or feel that it's run it's course, far from it. I believe BB should continue as long as possible. Those who feel it's had it's day should also consider reverberations: i.e. the loss of contestants that could further their careers in the media as a result of being a contestant, BBLB/Dermot, websites like this and a community of BB fans, countless newspaper articles on the current and former contestants. In order to prevent the problems that have occurred in this series, BB 5 should have these ideas implemented: no eviction until at least 2 or 3 weeks into the show, no double evictions until the very last couple of weeks, less money to spend on food, tasks to be made a lot harder, an outhouse built (similar to BB 2), more drink available. I'll leave the choice of contestants to the integrity of BB. |
