Yes it does because some people miss the start or prefer to watch it an hour later.

well if you cant watch bb when its on then its better to watch it on ch5+1 then wait till 3am for it to be on the website

Yes, though I can't imagine it will make too much of a difference. From what I hear 5+1 has hardly been flooded with viewers lately. I think the majority of people who want to watch it will catch it on 5 when it first airs.
