I liked it, but it only really worked along with the big crowd and the big stage imo. I wouldn't like to see the car return next series but with the smaller stage set/crowd we have this year, the eye is fine for that.

The car was great at the time but it's moved on since then. That said I'm happy whichever way they want to throw them in the house.

I did used to like the arrival in the car yes, made launch nights more entertaining than they are now imo. Dirk Benedict's arrival in the A-Team van was brilliant.

If there is one thing I've hated about launch nights over the last few years, it's the annoying little chats they have with Davina/Brian just before they go in.

I voted no simply because I have never even missed the car,however I wouldn't mind either if it was brought back. It would seem a backward step to me though now.

God I remember watching that. That's event tv right there. The problem is its too polished now. Now fancy turn gate with lights and fireworks, just a barbed wire gate which reinforced no contact with the outside world. I miss those days.

I'd like it to go back to that set up but I think the small crowd would be more noticeable if they got rid of the elaborate set now.

I'd love to have that large open space back with the atmosphere and everything, but if they did it would be mostly empty nowadays.
