What was the argument about?
She's exactly the same as she is on Princess Nikki, and that's hard work for a boyfriend. Things hadn't been great anyway, and Nikki was annoyed about some of the things I said on the Jonathan Ross show. I couldn't even remember what I'd said, but she wasn't happy and she was going on at me. I was with my mum and my brother Alex and I just wanted to have a drink at the bar, so Nikki told me she was going home. But when I got back to my hotel, she was there in my bed! I was shocked because I'd thought she'd gone home. She told me I should be happy she was there waiting! She was shouting for about four hours about how bad a boyfriend I was and how I didn't pay her enough attention she needed. I tried to give her a hug in bed, but in the end I slept on the floor. I woke up the next morning to find Nikki telling my mum how I made her feel like she didn't exist. I just thought,
"Bollocks, I can't handle this."
I was so confused. But that just was on of many things...

I hope so, because I think we have a special bond because of Big Brother. I so wanted it to work, and when I came out I believed it would. But Nikki is different outside the house. I know I saw bits of her behaviour there - like when she got cross because we won the kissing award and she wanted an award for own - but when we came out, she was different. She wants the red-carpet treatment. I realised that when we were at a party; when she was asked to help clear up she said,
"Have you every seen an A-list celebrity working?" and refused to do anything.

Further on in the interview after Pete said he worried she'd be saying bad things...

Like what?
That I'm a bad boyfriend and didn't pay her enough attention. The bottom line is, I don't think I could give her what she wanted either. I'm sure that someone out there can, but it's not me.
