Default BB USA Nomination and Eviction System

In BB USA:

The Head of House nominates two people for eviction on the Friday.

On the Wednesday, the housemates select which housemate gets evicted, by voting for the housemate they want to be evicted.

Public voting only appears to happen for the final.

Oh, correction.

BB USA shows how dull it is again.

The public don't vote, the evicted housemates are placed in a Jury and decide...

Great!

God. Give me UK BB any day.

I dont like the fact that the viewing public are not involved in nominations and evictions. Just think what would have happened if that system was in place in our house. How many of our favourites would have been evicted much earlier.

By doing it this way they really have to play the game well.

I have to admit to liking the USA BB format. It's much more of a game, entails building alliances etc. I think it's good that the public don't get to vote. Each year on BB here I've found that 'we the public' tend to evict the more interesting housemates first and are left with the boring ones. Anyone agree?

Welcome to the forum GazB!

I have to say that I don't agree that the public always vote out the interesting housemates first - it tends to be the loudest out first. (Whether loud = interesting is a whole new discussion!)

The best example of your point was in BB3 where the public put Jade and Lynne up for eviction and the housemates voted out Lynne. I have to say that I think the public vote would have evicted Jade and BB3 would have been a VERY different show (in some ways better ....!)
