Big Brother's Dean asks web surfers for music reviews

Big Brother's Dean O' Loughlin is asking online music fans to help him decide on his band's debut single.

His band Phony have posted a selection of songs on new music website Vitaminic.

Dean has previously described his music as "Bowie meets Kravitz".

He wants fans to help him choose between the tracks Sacrifice, Terribly and Longhaul.

I like Longhaul best out of the three but wish it was going to be De-luxe.

As much as I like Deluxe, I think I do agree with what Dean said when I asked him about it, that it is a bit too laid back for a first single.

He did say it would probably be the second one.

I think Longhaul would be the best single too, although Sacrifice gets under your skin after a while!

I've no doubt Deluxe would have been a huge hit if released soon after BB2 when we were all feeling bereft and nostalgic, but maybe something a little stronger would be best for the first single at this late stage. Well done to Phony for getting their act together! I'll look forward to it!

Do you have a picture in mind that you would like as your avatar? If you have, and it's somewhere on the web, just let either Mark or myself know what it is and we can arrange to put it up for you.

If you have a pic on your own hard disk you'll need to email it to Mark (ukbigbrother@aol.com) and he can put it up for you.

We like to check the pics first because often they are too large and we have to resize them first before they go up.

If you'd like some help in choosing a pic we have quite a lot of BB ones and I could send you a selection. Who were your fave housemates? Of course it doesn't have to be a bb pic if you would like something else?

My favourite track is 'Sacrifice' as I think it suits Dean's voice best, but I agree that 'Longhaul' would also make an excellent single.

However, 'Deluxe' just HAS to be the second single - I've been waiting for it to be released ever since BB2 finished!

I quite like that song, 'Terribly' I find it pretty catchy and people would recognise his voice if listened to on the radio... BUT!!
Like all you guyz, you cant beat 'Deluxe' Just brings back all BB memories!! Love that song!

Longhaul is by far the best track to release as a single it is very funky and upbeat and will make more of an impact generally. I already have a signed copy of Phony's demo, but it won't stop me buying the single too when it is released.
