Default the english cant box

they produce endless overhyped over rated boxers from henry cooper, to joe bugner, to frank bruno to ricky hatton and amir khan....alll over paid over hyped over rated

this is unique to england not any other nation in uk or abroad, they just love to back hyped losers especially in boxing

the ONLY great boxer england ever produced in the past 50 years is lennox lewis and he is canadian. other than that you have nigel benn, over rated, and chris eubank who was great but no one liked him because he seemed cocky he won so much? strange or what? i think eubank is terrific

the only other legendary british boxer in the past 30 years is the awesome undefeated joe calzaghe
the irish produced steve collins and barry mcguigan, the welsh had nathan cleverly , calzaghe and howard winstone who was a great too, the scots tidy flyweights world champsstatham. watt
the best british heavyweight ever (before lewis) was also welsh tommy farr who went 15 rounds with the best ever, joe louis in his prime in front of his home crowd in yankee stadium,
also strangely welsh fighters dont bleed like irish scots or english? has anyone a biological explanation for that?
for a nation as big and enormously wealthy as england their record compared to the smaller nations is unimpressive

england and english sports needs to quit allowing the newspapers to choose its heroes and champions, loook at daley thompson, the greatest athlete maybe ever from uk, ignored by alll? start with the olympics, forget celebrity sportsmen back the champions

Im talking world class fighters not journey men pub fighters
Michele Aboro - rubbis
Henry Akinwande-rubbish
Terry Allen-lol
Dennis Andries-decent not world class
Nigel Benn-overhyped, big hitter, lost nearly all his big fights
Jackie (Kid) Berg-average jo
Jackie Brown-good movie, mediocre fighter
Frank Bruno-lol should have been a bodybuilder, battered in nearly every world title fight, he just couldnt move.
Glenn Catley-do me a favour
John Conteh-yeah fair play forgot him he was tidy, not a legend but tidy champion
Nicky Cook-lol
Jane Couch-and the standard of opposition was?
Terry Downes-average
Chris Eubank-yes he was hard man, limited offensive abilities, calzaghe dropped him round one but eubank was to drawer, the english never liked him because he was a winner and liked to strut
Bob Fitzsimmons-nothing special
Carl Froch-once he fought class he lost
Naseem Hamed-what a joke. he dropped a few guys, once he fought a mexican who could take a punch his careeer was over. he finished poorly
Ricky Hatton- a joke
H cont.-who?
David Haye- hes ok but couldnt touch class like klitschko
Herbie Hide- lol
Paul Hodkinson- lol
Lloyd Honeyghan-one or 2 big fights but soon fell away
Maurice Hope- nah
Paul Ingle-nah
Paul Jones-? im talking world class here
Peter Kane-?
Amir Khan-glass jaw, overhyped over paid over rated
Lennox Lewis-legend but he was canadian
Ted (Kid) Lewis-yes great but long time ago, if you want to go back that far the best was jimmy wilde and he was a little welshman, awesome fighter, an all time world great unlike almost everyone on your list
Charlie Magri-poor champion didnt travel
Terry Marsh-ok domestic champ not world class
Jason Matthews?
Tom McCormick?
Glenn McCrory- what about him?
Duke McKenzie-not world class
Colin McMillan-?
Freddie Mills not all time great
Alan Minter-did you see the hagler fight? come off it
Owen Moran?
Johnny Nelson-12 defeats in 59 against mostly mediocre opposition
Pedlar Palmer? won 45 lost 15 not great enough for this list
Chris Pyatt
Robin Reid-? come on be serious
Cheryll Robertson-? lol
Sid Smith- good fighter but again jimmy wilde gave him a lesson a few times and he just lost too many fights
John H. Stracey-a scotsman. great fighter
Joe Symonds
Carl Thompson nah
Randy Turpin-ok one great win
Matt Wells?
Junior Witter-nah
Richie Woodhall-nah
Clinton Woods
