There are so many things wrong with her, her actual weight doesn't need to be mentioned to paint the full picture. That said, it's going to keep coming up due to the sheer number of ugly incidents she's involved in that directly involve food (the Luke A spaghetti meltdown, cornflakes in the drain, being on rations, etc). When people mention her throwing a tantrum because someone said no to cake, the elephant in the room (no pun intended) is going to come up.
