Rumors are circulating that they could be mother and daughter could this be true ??

It wouldn't surprise me, Sharon has no real links to tie her to Walford apart from Phil so I can see them shoehorning this in.

What Moviefan said. Her mum was discovered in the early 90s. Anything different is nonsense put together by people who don't know the show's history.

Carol Hanley is Sharon's mother, and she has been shown in the show. It's not Cora. Cora's daughter, Ava, died either at birth or shortly after.
