She fears what she can’t understand, then resents what she fears. Her depth of ignorance is overwhelming. She’s “gaaaan aaahhhht west” on Friday evening.


Scott, a limp faux effete rapscallion, with his practised, though amusing asides and quips. He is nonetheless an unmitigated cowardly scoundrel. As Deana remarked, he had plenty of opportunity to show his mettle in the first 7 weeks or so. It was non-existent, he remained firmly ensconced with the “cool” bullies. If it’s a double on Friday, then it’s simply awful but darling Scott may send his regrets for Pimms O’clock on Friday evening.


Sara, a strident harpy who feels we should all be privileged to learn her ignorant views. She thinks the queen is a poor auld pensioner who is brutally overworked by the nation and that none of us don’t treat her right because well, we are always trying to trip Sara up with arguments, like Ahh don’t know it’s jist a feelin ah’ve got, but you know? Can we no jist stop talkin about it!”. She’ll be the one to go before the final.

Adam, poor old Adam, he’s yesterday’s man. His finest moment was the argument with Sheesgone and her manic hands. He won the nation’s heart with his calm yet determined refutation of her mad gibbering accusations. Since then he’s smoked fags, got angry about fags, taken control of the fags, then shared some of the fags. He’ll be able to nip out for a crafty fag just before he comes third.


Luke A, a thoroughly nice chap. There’s no harm in him, but there’s the rub. He cares too much what awful creatures like Becky think than his incisive assessments of their flaws. He had every right to speak his truth as he saw it, he could have reminded Becky that she was the one who is lacking in self-respect, self-control and self-reflection. But no, concerned that the public would think he was a bad as the “insiders”, he went for the weasely nice guy routine. Well, Luke, “nice guys” quite often don’t come first!


Deana, the people’s winner. This wonderful woman has been through it all. She has been victimised, bullied, harassed, vilified, will learn about the threats of physical and sexual abuse that others in the House knew about. In all her time there, she has kept it together, she has strength, dignity, focus, empathy and integrity. She has not allowed the bullies and thugs to subdue her. She always stood strong against them. Now that she understands the present house dynamics, she has decided it’s “Deana time” and she is giving the viewing public their money’s worth, as well as repaying some long needed karma to the remnants of the bullies and thugs. They don’t like it, but “tough”, it’s not about them anymore.
Deana will be the well-deserved winner, no one else comes close to her.
