In length terms, BB is holding up well as a show. Yes BB is down considerably but a change of channels to a lesser channel could do that to a show. X Factor has been on ITV all the time and has been on for 4 years less than BB. It had also had like 15 series less than BB.

X factor is down a lot. % wise it has been down a lot in the last few years, more so than BB decline. 2 years ago, X Factor was getting 15m, now it launched with 8.7m, that is a big drop, still a big number, but a big drop. In the last 2 years, BB has gone from 2.7m to 2.0m. A smaller % drop in 2 years.

X Factor could decline further below 8m. I feel people are starting to get annoyed by it. Give it another 4 years (to bring it up to the same amount of years BB has been on for), it will be sub 6m.
