I dont often start threads but after watching tonight I was actually annoyed. Just to be clear I dont particularly like or agree with the career choices of the two glamour models in the house (Rhian + Danica) but by the same token I dont like or agree with the careers of certain others either.

Theres a few things that are annoying me about the love plots atm...

1) The hypocrisy displayed is amazing - You have people like Harvey (confirmed love rat and serial cheater) criticising someone else for cuddling someone cause it 'leads them on' you have Martin Kemp who was in a famous band who no doubt had groupies and broke many girls hearts but its not cool when two women are doing it to two men right? Thats what it boils down to, Harvey even said to Mike 'when I watch your show your usually the ones doing the playing' and laughed as though to say its cool and funny when you mess women around, but when a woman does it shes a slut.

2) The way certain people take the moral highground grinds my gears - Take the example of Samanatha Brick, a two bit hack journalist who writes for a toxic puke pile of a paper like the daily mail, who admitted she deliberately writes inflammatory articles to sell papers even if she doesn't believe it, often denigrating other women, and she has the bare faced cheek to look down at the career choice of Rhian and Danica and question their behaviour!! Honestly if I had a daughter Id rather she was an actual prostitute than a daily mail journalist (which is a contradiction in terms)

3) Mike and Ash are not very nice blokes - they are both bad boys, who've probably messed loads of girls around, they are grown men who've been told they have no chance and cant accept just being friends. Thats THEIR problem not the girls, if they are that pathetic Im glad they are being hurt... Was funny when he mentioned the MTV awards... 'So she says she wants to go the MTV awards with me what does that mean ??'

IT MEANS SHE WANTS TO GO TO THE MTV AWARDS ---- NOT SLEEP WITH YOU, YOU COMPLETE TOOL!!

Frankly Mike and Ash need to get over themselves and grow up. If they really feel used just back off but bottom line they cant hack that two good looking girls aren't madly in love with them. Sad little boys if you ask me, certainly not deserving of any sympathy, I bet plenty of the women Mike has 'played' are loving watching him getting his own treatment.

4) They haven't done anything remotely sexual - neither Danica nor Rhian (specially Rhian) have done anything sexual that could be seen as leading them on. If men cant accept platonic friendship with women thats their problem, the two girls biggest failing is being naive enough to think two twats like that would want friendship and not just to get in their knickers... I find it staggering that some non sexual physical contact and mild flirting (very mild) is being seen as leading the guys on... its a joke really, they've both said again and again nothings gonna happen but the two boys cant accept it, and read 'signs' into anything remotely friendly thats said.

Honestly I feel kinda sorry for them, woman on woman jealousy and double standards are at play here. If it were two guys this wouldn't be an issue, indeed Mike is famous for playing a Danica like role in his show and is loved for it, Harvey has actually broken peoples hearts, ruined their careers and the house think he ISNT a love rat but berate Rhian for sleeping fully clothed in a bed with someone she is close to... totally outrageous

Also your fouth point - Danica twiddling with Mike's nips is sexual and definitely gave him mixed signals, also her getting Lorenzo to taste her 'glitter' and touching his tongue is relatively sexual giving the circumstances. Agree about Rhian.

Well thought out and composed post - but I have to disagree. 2 wrongs don't make a right. If the boys are 'bad', it doesn't mean the girls are 'good'. It just means they are all as bad as each other - and boring the arse off most of us....

I think yet again opinions are being based on the very little feed that we see on the main show. You have some good points and I would agree to a certain extent if this was a one off and then the girls told them they had boyfriends would stay friends and then backed off but the fact of the matter is what they are saying and doing is a different matter. On one hand they are telling the boys that they have boyfriends etc and then the next time lying in bed with them and cuddling. Even after Danica said on last nights show that she wasn't interested in Mike etc we then here that she is back flirting with him again.

The men are single, if a pretty girl flirts with them and tells them what they want to hear they are not going to turn them away if they fancy them although hopefully now they have seen what they are up to they will steer well clear if they have any sense

If Danica is leading Mike on in any way, she is just playing on his natural ego that is already there. He thinks he is so amazing that he can make her leave her boyfriend and quit her job, even though she has told him this won't happen, and shown him that she isn't going to be there at his every beck and call.

So again tonight we see the ridiculous double standards...

Samantha Brick sitting while Mike regaled her with his exploits of taking 30 women to his apartment and how he uses women for pleasure while she laughed and found it all very jolly, but in the next breath is saying how Danica is using him and leading him on. But what should I expect from someone whos idea of equal rights is dressing up for 'your man', being subserviant and being at his every beck and call.

Its actually sad to see women treating the two girls like this, they applaud and laugh about the guys awful behaviour but cannot stomach that two women might do the same.

Also to whomever said it, I never said cause the guys are bad it makes the women good, nothing of the sort, they are all painfully dull and talk about nothing but relationships and sex. Difference is the guys aren't being judged or smeared for their behaviour, in some cases they are applauded and loved for it, but the two girls are treated like they are injecting heroin into new born babies.

How dare someone like Samantha use her uncertainty over Danicas career as a reason to vote her, what business is it of hers what Danica does for a living. Specially considering she knowingly writes inflammatory articles that set womens rights back decades just to pay the bills. I know which has a more detrimental effect on society, at least Danicas career doesn't affect anyone except consenting adults.

Samanthas 'opinions' effect society, she writes for one of the biggest papers in the UK and has a responsibility to have integrity and educate people, but she chooses to write vile nonsense to stir up controversy when actually shes just a tedious boring nobody with nothing remotely interesting to say. She honestly makes me sick...

Harvey, Mike and Ash also should have had their Noms cancelled considering they CLEARLY discussed who to vote for, but of course they aren't playing a game, neither is Mike whos new series of JS goes out just after CBB finishes (thats a stroke of luck isn't it)

No no re-read what I said. Id prefer her to be a prostitute than a DAILY MAIL journalist. Theres a big difference...

The daily mail is the most awful newspaper to exist in the western world. Its a vile hate filled rag that makes its money by stirring up hatred toward marginalised sections of society and profiteering of off the fear and misery created. Its disgusting and just about the worst job you could do (writing for it)

Even more so if you don't actually believe what you write, Id have more respect for her is she was as vile as her articles are.

Great posts Rod. One thing that really puts me off BB is the excessive, irrational hatred some housemates get.

I can understand the reasoning behind why some people may take a disliking to Danica (even though i believe those reasons to be unjustified) but the stick Rhian is beginning to receive is truly bewildering. She has made it clear on numerous occasions that she wants nothing to do with Ashley, yet people still lynch the girl for 'leading him on' whilst many totally ignoring the fact that Ashley has acted like a real sleaze.

The reactions do not surprise me, as the culprits are pretty much consistent with previous BBs, i just find it incredibly baffling.

Yeah she flirts with men, she does it for a living to some extent, shes obviously very good at it, Ive met women & men like this in real life, plenty of them. But lets not let this translate into some misguided support for a man who...

1) Admitted to playing women
2) Admitted to orgies and 4-somes with groupies
3) Admitted he likes to go out fighting people in clubs

These are not the actions of a 'nice' guy or someone who deserves any sympathy from us. Hes there to promote his new season of JS, hes using Danica as much as shes using him. They are both morally questionable, so why the love for him and hate for her?
