Jessica Blake was reported missing from her home in Beverley at around 1pm on Saturday.
Officers have found a body of a girl in a wooded area in the East Yorkshire town. Police said her death is not thought to be suspicious.
A formal identification of the body is yet to be carried out, but Jessica's family has been told, Humberside Police said.
Police divers, specially-trained officers and a helicopter have been involved in the search.
Jessica, who was said to have left home in a distressed state, had a paper round and was last seen carrying a yellow newspaper bag.
Earlier, police found an abandoned bike, but have not yet confirmed if it belonged to the teenager.
