Do you WANT to be evicted? if not, offer a payment plan for the moment, then pay the £1500 in a lump sum when you can.

Ohh I misread your OP totally. I thought you said you were £2000 in arrears. not that you had arrears but only can afford to pay £2000 of them.

These guys were a godsend for me when i ended up in a bit of a financial pickle a few years ago the CAB sent me to them they are free to use and they assign someone to your case that you can talk to/email and get a response which helps so much that its the same person you talk to.
http://www.cccs.co.uk/ The first thing they will do after getting as much detail from you as they can is to contact your housing association and just ask them to put things on hold to give them chance to assess your situation and help you put a plan together that works for everyone. (your housing association will prefer that to eviction everytime) contact them via the website asap and get the ball rolling. and farhad dont worry yourself sick about it things will work out one way or another theres a lot of people in the same boat at the moment i did the same thing just started throwing letters in the bin because i couldnt face what was happening if you get started with them on that website as soon as you can they will help you sort it out and it will soon be behind you. P.S. Dude if you want to you can pm me anytime if you want any info i know its a crap place to be in but if you do the right things everything will be cool before you know it. farhad,I hope you get things sorted, only someone being told the full facts and situation will be able to start and get this all sorted for you, reading through this thread, it is clear you must feel really out of your depth and often turning to total strangers can be the best help in those times.
I really hope you follow bobknots advice and that you do that today too.As he says what you need urgently is to get things put on hold. Please take his advice and all the very best of luck to you,I do hope we hear better news from you soon, Take care. Last edited by joeysteele; 11-09-2012 at 11:24 AM. |

Agree with you there. I'd love to help if i can. I think going to the citizen advice bureau is the best thing to do. And it's free.
