Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong has entered rehab.
The singer has checked himself into a clinic for substance abuse treatment two days after embarking on an expletive-laden on stage meltdown during the band's performance at iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas - click at the top of the page to watch.
A statement published on Green Day's website read: "Billie Joe is seeking treatment for substance abuse. We would like everyone to know that our set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those we offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas."
