Does anyone actually, RFLMAO? No! A comedian said it best when he said it's overused. Someone can message "i'm going to get toilet paper lol". REALLY? ARE YOU REALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD AS YOU WALK TO THE CORNER SHOP?

I think during messaging people use it mostly because it makes what you write less serious than it's supposed to be. A person can sometimes appear uptight if there isn't a lol or something at the end....lol!

I was walking down the main street a few months ago and there was 2 girls about 15 walking infront of me having a conversation and one of them actually said LOL in reply to the other girl, not l.o.l like that she actually said lawl.

Do all teenagers say that to each other?

Yeah. Or at least all of the ones from school (including myself). It's a horrible habit, I do it all the time

I don't know why I do it, half the time I'm not even smiling, let alone laughing. I started off saying it as a joke but of course it stuck and now it's this horrible habit. I will try and stop it for you Josy I promise
