We do have a new chef in the kitchen.
Whose this then Boris. I should like to know cos as I shall be helping out in the back room tomorrow whilst the Rugby is on so I cant jinx England I shall be working with this new chef.

Hope its not Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay. Jamie would drive me mad and Gordon would shout at me.

But perhaps there is fish pie on the menu which could only mean that the new chef is ..................

Now him I could work with.

Just come back from seeing Love Actually and just in the mood for some food. Where's this chef with the menu. Just fancy a bowl of chips with mayonnaise hope he does those.

BTW Film absolutely brilliant - would recommend it.

Well I am a bit depressed (work stuff) and NEED all this: tea cakes with lashings of butter, spag bol, a bit of carrot cake (the healthy bit), red wine, a flake, ice cream andsome cheese staws.

Can the chefs cope??

Foolish question blinkinlovely. All that and more. The question is........

How do you want it presented?

All on one big plate?

A series of small plates?

With or without cutlery?

Is it for you only or will you share it with a friend so that you can pour out your heart about your problems whist eating? ( I have a friend who lets me do that .... absolutely priceless. I would give her my last Malteser only she is on a diet at the moment and wouldn't eat it !)

Let me know just WHAT you want and I will tell chef.( only toruble is he is watching the RUGBY right now so you might have to wait.

Well I did as ordered by OH and son and kept well away from the TV during the match thus making sure that

ENGLAND WON!

Hope you all enjoyed the sterling work that me and that rather tasty chef of yours Boris did in the kitchen this morning - did you enjoy your full English breakfasts washed down with Bucks Fizz?

He did tell me that he has something very special planned for tonight in celebration - he did mumble something about a very chocolatey, alcoholic cake with an appropriate inscription. Plus champage cocktails.

He will have to manage alone tonight though cos I feel I deserve to be allowed out into the big wide world.

Sorry about the small fire, it was due to 'someone' getting over excited and dropping alcohol on to a naked flame. OHHHHHHHH

Well it's Saturday night and I have just watched Pop Idol and am celebrating quietly in the corner with a bottle of Chablis.

What could be better, first we win the rugby and then Roxanne gets voted off.
