Still seems like everyone with anything to do with the show(besides gary) dislikes him...even on xtrafactor they are constantly ripping into him

People are hating Chris because the 'X Factor' is telling people to hate Chris.

I always find it amazing how the judges opinions hold such a strong influence over the public's opinion. What they say pretty much dictates what everyone then feels.

I hate him but he makes me laugh sometimes unlike the others this year where they are so serious but are not that good most of the time.

I think you have a point because let's look at other examples.

1. Gary says Amelia shouts then a load of the public started to say that Amelia shouts through her performances.

2. Cheryl says that she doesn't like Aiden's style, then a load of the public jump on the bandwagon and say that he has a hissy fit on stage.

3. Louis calls Jamie karaoke then loads of the public say that Jamie is karaoke.

4. Gary calls Janet boring then the public call Janet boring.

5. Simon says that Matt and Rebecca are the best acts left in there year, then the public say that the two best that year was Matt and Rebecca.

6. Sharon calls Rhydian arrogant then the public call Rhydian arrogant.

I'm sorry for dragging it on so long but I have named plenty of cases there where I think you are spot on that the public jump on the bandwagon with what the judges say.
