Death threats, or threats of any kind are a step too far really...just...well, pathetic.

I don't like the guy and wish he'd left ages ago but there's no need to bombard him with torrents of abuse. Making parody accounts, fine...harmless (the whole 'Baloney' stuff is ****ing hilarious), but there's a certain line of morality that some people just need to reassess whether they're crossing it.

Doesn't help when you've got the presenters and people on the show making him feel guilty for just being there. I'm not a fan, but people are voting for him so he has a fan base.

Thought it was ridiculous on Xtra Factor when everyone, including Rylan who is the bigger joke in all of this for possessing no talent whatsoever, was being asked how they felt about getting through and they were congratulated. Chris Maloney gets asked "Do you feel guilty for taking someone else's place in the competition?" by Caroline Flack. I mean what kind of question is that? Absolute joke. And then they kind of swiftly moved on as though not to bother with him.

Wow really? Thats harsh... I dont watch xtra factor mainly because I cannot stand Caroline and it seems am doing the right thing :/

Louis Walsh has revealed that he is adamant to stop 'melodramatic' Christopher Maloney winning The X Factor.

The 60-year-old judge told The Guardian that bosses have somehow got to find a way of stopping the 'cheesy' Liverpudlian from succeeding.

Walsh said Maloney is also being accused of faking nerves: "The other contestants call him 'shake and fake'. He keeps getting really big votes, though."

It's thought that Simon Cowell is furious Maloney is still on the show as bosses don't think he will sell records if he wins.

On the official X Factor website, Walsh said: "Maloney is bland and boring. For some unfathomable reason, the public still like him. He really suits his new nickname; shake and fake.

"Chris can really sing though, I'll give him that."

He only gets treated like this because the producers/press have made it happen. Mary Byrne got as far as him and she was just as dated yet no one said a word about her taking the place of 'current' contestants because she didn't have the backlash bandwagon against her.
