..I cannot relate to people like this at all...they appear to have no compassion/empathy whatsoever, otherwise it’s hard to believe they could do something like that..this girl had probably done nothing..maybe she nudged him or something in passing..I don’t believe she really had to do anything..nothing seems to have provoked his behaviour...
...if they have any ‘label’ attached to them..to me it would be sociopath/psychopath as I don’t believe they have a conscience....
...my son was a victim of an unprovoked attack a while ago..and he may still have physical scars but the emotional ones are much more difficult to live with...and the most difficult thing of all is that the only thing he remembers is the face of his attacker..smiling as he attacked him....
..I can’t be unbiased about this sort of thing..it fills me full of anger..I don’t know, assuming he’s found, how this sort of person can be rehabilitated...I don’t know how someone can be taught how to feel emotion..I don’t know whether facing his victim and her family would help..it’s something I just don’t understand...
..the only ‘sympathetic’ feeling I can have..is that like any other mental disorder...these people can’t help it....they didn’t purposefully set out to be lacking of emotion...but that doesn’t make it any easier for their victims..
