Locke and Jesus, lots of mixed opinions from Liverpool fans about Rafa taking the Chelsea job for now with the sensible majority obviously wishing him well, but not them of course after what he did for your club.

What do you think in terms of whether he was right or not to go for it? I certainly think he was right but RA is obviously lining up Pep G at some point.

idk why but Rafa looks like a former drug lord that has decided to settle down with his family on a yacht in Miami to me

From his point of view he had every right to go for it. He obviously wanted to come back here in the summer but from the sounds of things he wasn't even considered, and he has been out of work for a couple of years so needed to get back in the game anyway. Can't fault him for taking it but won't be wishing him to do well while he's there.

I don't blame Rafa. He's a professional, and as such, he has to go where the work is. Roman could offer him a 20 year contract, and he'd happily walk out on them to return to Anfield, so you have to treat these things philosophically.

He's a great man, but he's working for a bunch of classless *****. I, of course wish him well, but I don't want Chelsea to have any success.

From your owners point of view maybe they were aware of how popular Rafa is, but wanted to look to the future and give someone else a chance who of course is Brendan Rodgers.

Stability is important at most clubs atm because of all these manager sackings, although sometimes some are the correct decision.

BIB Absolutely, he had obviously had enough of being out of work so took advantage of the Chelsea situation and fair play.

Some Chelsea fans were obviously not keen because of comments he made when he was managing Liverpool, but oh well. I do actually feel for Rafa in some aspect for having to put up with Roman now!

Guy is an embarrassment to the club has to be the most negative winger in the league looks to go sideways 100% of the time. When not doing that all he contributes is his constant diving most cringe player ever to wear the United jersey
