Wowzers!...
What a record to break! It's definately one people will remember. In all fairness, it's a bit misleading. The fastest seeling female artists ever. a) It doesn't specify that it's in the UK. b) It doesn't specify that it's referring to singles. Well, Shayne Ward is the fastest-selling male Mancunian of Irish decent of 2005. What a record, eh? The most important record she hasn't claimed, seen as she is 'the best contestant ever on these type of shows', is greatest selling reality TV contestant. Her debut hasn't even come close to that of Will's and Shayne's. Anyway, singles mean jacksh*t nowadays. We'll wait and see how many records she'll break with that once all the hype has died down. Not many, I bet. Although, I reckon she will be the best selling half-cast X Factor-winner ever. Just a guess though.... |
