I remember being annoyed that 9/11 coverage was cutting into My Parents Are Aliens time on CITV when I was a kid - you don't really THINK about these things when you're a child, all you see is the news going on for way longer than it should do. It's not even like they're saying anything horrible about the kids, they're just moaning about the media coverage - and to be fair, I agree that media sensationalism is precisely what leads to situations like the one in Newtown.
