I think Pete is very image conscious. He wants the looks as well as the voice. And Michelle doesn't fit his criteria of a Pop Idol due to her size.
The highlight of the show for me was Daniel singing 'Tainted Love'. He never fails to reduce me to fits of giggles. The man is a legend!
