everyone makes fun of marcus - and I do mean almost everyone, whether it's out and out mockery or building him up on a pedestal - because tibb needs to have a laughing stock, or a new joke, and it's quite tedious

Exactly and I know I come under this in terms of mockery but it's irritating how some people are scolded for behaving this way but the pedestal thing escape with nothing. Not saying they deserve to be "told off" either but it's not just us doing it.
