I can only imagine how difficult this must've been with Gareth and Gemma. One of the hardest things I found with coming out was facing the girls I had dated in the past

I love the reaction of his friend/teamate - that's how my best friend reacted to with the whole 'so what' thing and it made me so happy. I hope this documentary can inspire some people to come out

I don't think that advice from Gareth's mother is too good tbh - I don't think a parent should approach their child about their sexuality - it's far too stressful and delicate of a topic for the gay person that I just feel like it would be extremely difficult to react to a prompt like that. I think parents need their child to be ready enough to tell them, themselves for the best results.
