There's a rumour on the Channel 4 BB Forum that Dermot's going to announce the phone number (and web address?) to apply for the application forms for BB5 at the end of the final show of Shattered.

According to the C4 Forum (See this link) The application forms will be available on the official Big Brother site at the end of the month.

Seeing as last year the applications had to be in by early February this is leaving things a bit late. I was beginning to wonder if, in light of the bad reviews of BB4, they were going to quietly drop the idea of BB5.

Maybe they still might.

I think the delay this year is due to the footie this summer and BB5 will be held later in the year!

I was wondering whether they will schedule in the Teen BB update programme soon and advertise for BB contestants for BB5 at the end of that programme?

Quite agree all the signs seems to be that the programme will be shown later on this year. The Olympics are on this year as well so perhaps they want to miss them.

BB1 was later wasnt it so perhaps they will be going back to that time-tabling.
